Blood Berserkers Empty Blood Berserkers

Blood Berserkers 2j2eohi

Blood Berserker

History:

Azeroth has always known different religions. The Holy Light of the humans, the earthmother, Elune of the Night Elves. But not long after the third war, at Mount Hyjal, a new deity was born in the hearts of survivors of the battle.
An orc and human that managed to survive the battle had the blood of demons get mixed with their own blood in their open wounds. The two felt a longing desire they have had never felt before. Looking over the bloody, horrifying battlefield, gave them a feeling of satisfaction, much like a Death Knight who killed his foe.
But this desire pushed them even further as to the point where they started to scoop up the blood on the ground in their hands and drink it. They would even start sucking the blood out of the fresh corpses, both demon and mortal alike.
Eventually the two turned to eachother, although feeling a great need to kill one another, they also realised they felt the same desire for blood and slaughter. They made their swift escape from Mount Hyjal before anyone could realise it.

The two fled to the south, to the barren landscape of Thousand Needles. There they made their hide-out, ambushing countless caravans, slaughtering whoever was with them, drinking the blood from their victims and taking whatever they could use for themselves.
They also ripped open their foes and used the organs and bones to make altars and relics to a strange deity. A deity they called Kharn. Although the existance of this deity is highly doubtful, the two men kept on embracing it as a god, a blood god.
The slaughtered caravans were on the centaur in the area, keeping the existance of the bloodthirsty mongrols hidden.
They even assaulted military caravans, which proved more of a challenge, but some of the soldiers they were about to kill, rather just joined them, following the example of their assailants, killing his comrades mercilessly and drinking their blood aswell.
This way, the so called blood cult increased in size with every passing raid.

One day, a military caravan, transporting blacksmithing materials and some very skilled blacksmiths, became the victim of the mongrels. But instead of killing the blacksmiths, they turned into blood heretics, feeding blood of the "unworthy" who had been slain.
They forced the blacksmiths into making a great and terrifying armor. The blacksmiths, and they also made various sorts of battle-axes, as a sword would be too weak and a mace would spoil the precious bones. The armor and axes were decorated with bones, skulls, blood and a new symbol: The eight-pointed star, the symbol of Kharn and the new Blood Berserkers.

Five years they have spent in hiding, building strange relics of bones.
Often these were found scattered all over the world, but they were mistaken for troll voodoo objects or trophies from the Scourge or the Burning Legion. Nobody had have ever reported sight of a blood and skull decorated beast, as all who saw the Blood Berserkers, joined them, may it be as another one or as a sacrifice.

Now, after two millenia of hiding in the shadows, the Blood Berserkers have been revealed, as a survivor has finally been able to report the sightings of these things. Yet, he was not taken serious, calling him naïve man who had spent too many hours in the sun.
But they did take notice of the warning stayed alert of the eight-pointed and the Blood Berserkers who serve it. A Bloody Citadel or Fortress has been said to be claimed by these brutes, but nobody has yet to find this, and nobody truly wants that.

General Information on Class:

The Blood Berserker is fairly different of the normal berserker. Although they are also fueled with rage and lust for battle, their ways of fighting are harsher and more ruthless.
A normal berserker is often a troll or orc that is said to fight with rage all the time without caring for themselves and showing no mercy to those in their path.

The Blood Berserker puts these traits to the extreme. They come from all races who can properly wield a weapon.
Covered in bloodsoaked red armor, skulls hanging from chains on their armor and many different frightening ornaments on their armor.
The Blood Berserker's weapon of choice is a one sided battle-axe. Depending on their specific fighting style, a Blood Berserker either wields two of those heavy axes with ease or just one axe, but using his free hand to break his opponent's bones with ease. A Blood Berserker never wields another weapon different from a battle-axe.
Another detail that's often noted, is that their helmets are decorated with one or two pair of horns, most likely in a demon resembling way.
A Blood Berserker is also a heretic to all other religions and beliefs. After a harsh battle, a Blood Berserker drinks the blood from his enemies' skulls, using them as cups. They also make monuments and relics out of bones and skulls, sacrificing the blood of beaten foes, innocent victims and sometimes even themselves as a sacrifice to their own deity. This deity however, is yet to be confirmed to be actually existant.

A Blood Berserker cares for nothing but to slaughter, drink blood and serve his deity. The only ally a Blood Berserker will ever have is his own kind. A Blood Berserker on his own is already a very strong opponent, but just a small group of Berserkers can take out half an army.
This is only possible because these berserkers know absolutely no fear. Spells and curses of mind control and agony are useless on them. Their will is so bent on blood and slaughter, that nothing can get their minds off of it.
A Blood Berserker is also known to be very fast to close a gap between him and his opponent. They charge mercilessly, ignoring arrows and regular bullets as if they were nothing. The only thing that can stop a charging Blood Berserker is a bomb or magic explosion.
A Blood Berserker will also keep fighting even if wounded badly. This would just make the berserker enrage even more. They WILL fight to the death, no matter who the opponent is or whatever the cause. A Blood Berserker finds it an honor to have his blood spilled over the battleground, but that doesn't he will let himself get killed easily.

In other words, the Blood Berserker is a fearless and ruthless one man army.

Their weaknesses include:
-A Blood Berserker has grown dependent on Blood and will slowly lose all sanity and grip on himself if he does not feed himself with blood in time.
-Because of the small role that fel blood has played in the history of the Blood Berserker, they have grown weaker against holy light and therefor can be matched by paladins.
-A Blood Berserker never flees battle and he will fight to the death, which could possibly be his own.
-They believe strong in their deity, and will fight stronger when near relics and monument to him. But if they have no relic or altar nearby, their fighting spirit will decrease and they will be easier to kill.
-If a relic or altar of them is destroyed, they will first go through a phase a rage and will be extra strong. But this lasts for a short period, for then their power will decrease greatly by seeing the monument to their god destroyed.
-The armor of the Blood Berserker is very specially made and is not easy to repair when it is broken.
-The Blood Berserker might be unmatched in melee combat and by regular ranged weaponry, but they are NOT resistant to magic (except for mind targetting spells) and explosive dangers.
-IMPORTANT: They are NOT immortal. They CAN be killed and most likely will in the long run. So only make this if you are not scared of character death.

Things the Berserker can:
-A Blood Berserker can rush into battle at high speed, even with his heavy plate armor.
-A Blood Berserker can keep on fighting even when wounded lethal.
-A Blood Berserker knows no fear and has no way to be effected by it, may it be spell or curse or something else.
-A Blood Berserker can wield large, powerful axes with ease, but only axes.
-A Blood Berserker can actually heal his wounds by sacrificing blood of another to his deity. This can't sacrificing be done by sacrifing his own blood.

And what they can't:
-A Blood Berserker can't wield ANY other weapon than an axe. This also applies for ranged weapons. They ARE able to wield throwing axes, though, but this is rarely done as they focus on melee combat.
-A Blood Berserker doesn't fear death and that way, can't even be thinking of fleeing a battle.
-A Blood Berserker will never spare an enemy, whoever it may, whatever they may offer. If they spare someone, it is only for sacrifing him or her later.
-A Blood Berserker can't be mind controlled or even affected by mind targetting spells, as their iron will is solely bent on blood and slaughter.
-A Blood Berserker can never enter a public town. After the reportings of these being, they are declared Kill on Sight. Although a single soldier wouldn't dare to engage these monsters.
-A Blood Berserker can not be corrupted by dark and fel magic, as they are already corrupted.
-They will never wear disguises, may it be magic or not. They are proud of what they are and will not disguise it.

I have read and agree to all IC and OOC rules, and understand my character may be pulled from play if proven I have broken rules and or abused my character in role-play.

Yes, I will use a guild which all Blood Berserkers must join to keep a close eye on them.

I think its a bit too OP how he can heal himself by sacrificing the blood of another though its not clear if that means he can do that in combat or not. Can you explain it a little better please?

They can heal grievous wounds through a Blood Sacrifice at their shrine.
This is an actual ritual so it's pretty hard to do that in combat.

Looks like the kind of char that only goes around pvping, but if you enjoy doing such then I'm for it. Also looking forward to see the shoulderpads used on this char as the discription sounded good. Also seeing how all combat is ultimately tied into the shrines at some point then i find this profile to be balanced.
